01Not heating
Running does not always mean heating.
A light, fan or turning tray does not establish that the microwave heating system works. A trained technician must diagnose the cause before recommending a magnetron, power component or control replacement.
02Sparking & unusual noise
Stop and describe what happened.
Sparks, unusual buzzing, burning smells or visible damage require assessment. Do not keep running the oven to reproduce the fault. The cause can involve residue, unsuitable cookware, cavity damage or an internal fault.
03Door, latch & interlocks
The door is a safety component.
Poor closure, damaged hinges, a bent door or faulty interlocks need professional inspection. Do not force the latch, adjust the door yourself or bypass any safety switch.
04Controls & no-power faults
Start with the exact model and symptom.
Unresponsive keys, display errors or no power can have several causes. Internal fuses and electronics require a trained technician; simply replacing a fuse without finding the fault is not a complete repair.
05Turntable & drive faults
A stopped tray needs a closer look.
On turntable-equipped models, the tray position, roller support, coupler or drive system may be involved. Only check removable tray parts as permitted by the manual, with the oven off and cool.
06Grill & convection faults
Tell us which cooking mode is affected.
Grill elements, convection fans, temperature sensing and controls vary by model. A working grill does not prove microwave heating works. Confirm the appliance type and affected mode before booking.
